August 22, 2019

As they predicted, 2018 was a big one for BATE – almost a decade after the DJ duo was formed, they finally released their debut single, “One I Love”, which went viral on Spotify, nearing 14 million plays! Capitol Records went on to sign the successful song, with the boys already being signed to Lion Music Group and Universal Music Group. It was no surprise that they produced a dancefloor favourite with all the experience they had from playing clubs and festivals around the world. Although we have yet to hear a follow-up single, the boys have still been making waves with their residency at super club, Zouk Genting, and performance at Good Vibes Festival 2019 – they warmed up the crowd for Cashmere Cat, Jai Wolf and Yaeji at the new-and-improved Electric Fields stage.

Here’s how they described their set:
It was definitely a journey and we dropped some unreleased songs too!

But when are they going to finally release their next single?
We’ve been working on a lot of new songs and collaborating with a lot of new international artists in the past year. The success of “One I Love” has definitely forced us to be more international right away, which was unexpected. So a lot of growth has happened in terms of music, sound, artist direction and really preparing ourselves for this journey. In the meantime, for our fans, we’ve released official remixes for – Becky Hill (Sunrise In The East), Fazura (Can’t Forget Me), and also club reworks. Our next official single will be released with a U.K artist in the coming months, we can’t wait for you guys to check it out!
